As the name implies the Meeting of the Waters is where Killarney’s famous lakes converge. The Upper Lake, Middle Lake (also known as Muckross Lake), and Lower Lake (Lough Leane) all come together at this point, which is often described as the most beautiful part of the Lakes of Killarney. The tours offers an extensive tour of both Lough Leane and The Muckross Lake while also journeying into narrow river systems providing our guests with a unique perspective available only on the traditional open boats.
The experience of passing under Brickeen Bridge and the Rustic Bridge create memories that will last a lifetime. A wonderful surprise awaits guests as the wonderful Dinis Cottage emerges through the trees. This old hunting lodge, dating back to the 1840’s is still in use today, serving teas and coffees to passers-by. As guests return to Ross Castle, the boat meanders along the mountain shore in Glena and if lucky, the white tailed sea eagles may even provide a fly over.
The skill and experience of our drivers are demonstrated as they carefully navigate the shallow river channels, steering the boat under overhanging trees and shrubs. Tours are fully guided with plenty of Irish wit and fun. A fantastic scenic tour, not to be missed.

Boats are open and guests are exposed to the elements so dress for the weather. Life jackets supplied to all. All vessels Department of Marine Certified, Licenced and Fully Insured.
